Australian officials have spotted three objects in the Southern Indian Ocean that are suspected to be related to the missing Malaysia Airlines jet. Tony Abbott, the Australian Prime Minister, sent the Australian Airforce Orion aircraft to the location to discover more information.

Four jets have diverted to visit the area where the objets were spotted, but the objects are stated to be relatively difficult to find. The largest object spotted is estimated to be 24 meters in length.

The Prime Minister made it clear that the objects from the satellite are "relatively indistinct," but Prime Minister Abbott stated, "This is a lead, probably the best lead we have right now." The objects were found about 1550 miles southwest of Perth, Australia. Australian Maritime Safety Authority says that this is being regarded as a "possible spotting"

More information to come as the search for Flight 370 continues.
