To reach the United States from China by high speed railway, the trip would take about two days. That is if the train is traveling at 220 miles per hour. This idea that Chinese engineers came up with is not as crazy as it sounds. The total distance from Russia to Alaska only takes about 125 miles of underwater tunnels. "China-Russia-Canada-America" line is the name of this project.

Wang, the engineer that formulated the plan for this project, has other ideas for high speed railways. One of these projects would run from China to Central Asia, to Turkey and Iran, and finishing in Germany. The Second projected will go from London to Paris, to Berlin, Kiev, Moscow, Kazakhstan, and China.

China has already started construction in China for these projects, but they need to negotiate with other countries to start construction else where.
